About The Organizers

Robert A. Sloan

Robert A. Sloan Siamese Tiger Ari

"I write novels like other people eat biscuits"

Author of SF epic Raven Dance (you can read it online for free if you have the patience to click through all the sample pages) as well as numerous other longer and shorter works. First among them: Chazho, first of dozens of epic, futuristic, high-fantasy novels set on the great world of Piarra &mdash currently on submission to Tor. Just this year he has completed a 40,000 word unoffical three-day-novel set in his new world of Eastcliffe.

He lives with his own furry muse, Ari, who sheds cat hairs of inspiration and edits Robert's work by deleting openers — forcing Robert to rewrite them better. Robert is a disabled Welsh-Italian mix, and Ari is a seal point colorpoint longhair whose pictures will appear frequently on the upcoming Gallery.

Ari is also the star of the upcoming webcomic "Siamese Tiger Ari" to be posted here as it's drawn, when he manages to get Robert to sketch his adventures. >^..^<

Starweaver Blue Life as a Dragon cover

"My quote is /not/ going to be one of those sailor-moon-esque attack calls, like 'rainbow plasmatic aura-smashing romantic-bubble-popping gargantuan cosmic THINGIE OF DEATH SQUARED!!!!!'. It should really be something more like 'sploosh!'"

Water-dragon poet, author of Life as a Dragon and half a dozen novels set in the ever-expanding "Lost Future" universe. Also an expert photographer, geek, admin, cat scritcher and artist. He doesn't like writing self-bios while tired so this will be expanded later. Probably.

About the Site

SFFmuse is hosted by Feath's Webs, an affordable webhost of top-notch service and quality.

The prime point of this site is positivity — we're working for an atmosphere that raises morale and stimulates creativity. It's a bit of refuge from the meme-theme of a "dog eat dog world". We stand for the idea that people blossom fullest in a safe environment, not one that attempts to tear them down at every turn.
